The St. Pats 1st year hurling team had a magnificent win in Paddy O’ Brien Park today, beating a very strong Rochfortbridge outfit in the Leinster Schools “B” Final. It was fitting that an O’ Mahonys man, Darragh Ward collected the trophy on home soil on behalf of his team as captain. A magnificent win in tempestuous conditions that saw the Navan men bringing home the silverware with a 2-8 to 0.4 victory. Well done all involved and their coaches Mr. Kerrigan, Mr. Molony and Mr. Collins.
