Transition Year students received a talk from Amanda Alty from Meath Women’s Refuge recently. The boys learned about the vital supports and services offered to women and children suffering domestic abuse in Co. Meath. Students along with their teacher Ms Smith decided to organise a Christmas fundraiser for Meath Women’s Refuge. Pictured here are TYC students, representing all three Transition Year groups, presenting gift vouchers and hampers donated by Transition Year parents and staff of St. Pat’s to Amanda. We sincerely thank everyone for their generous donations that will no doubt be put to good use this Christmas for those in need.
