We were delighted to be back in our school gym last night to celebrate the class of 2022. We were grateful to have Bishop Deenihan & Fr Sebe to concelebrate our Graduation Mass. Last night was a great showcase of our students here in St. Pat’s. It was a celebration of their life spent in our corridors. Our Head Prefect James Cahill opened our evening with a students perspective of the fun, laughter & hard work that they have experienced. Mr. O’Rourke & Our Year Head Ms. Hogan alluded to the respect, empathy and resilience that our students have here in St.Pat’s. These characters are built from our students’ communities and homes. We presented our subject/sport/merit and student of the year awards, well done to all those students. The night came to a close with our 6th Year music class singing ‘Traveling Man’, a lovely end to our celebration.
A night like this is made special by all the hard work and dedication that is put in by staff and students. We would like to especially pay special tribute to the Religion, Music, Art and Woodwork departments for all their work in helping to prepare the gym for this year’s ceremony. Thank you also to our Board of Management for providing refreshments in the canteen and finally thank you to our management team.
A great night was had by all & we wish the class of 2022 all the best in their Exams & future endeavours.
