A school environmental group has been established by students to help make the school more environmentally friendly.
The committee, which is open to students of all years, leads initiatives that will increase recycling in the school, reduce energy usage, explore biodiversity ideas and increase the general awareness among the student body on this important issue.
Students are constantly reminded of the need to keep classrooms clean and presentable. They are also made aware of their responsibility to maintain the school grounds, the immediate environs of the school campus
A recent energy saving initiatives involved the replacement of all light bulbs with LED lights and an innovative toilet flushing system which greatly reduces the amount of waste water produced.
