Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024- Pics

Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024
Bhí ceiliúradh den chéad scoth againn anseo I Scoil Claisiceach Naomh Pádraig le linn Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2024. Bhí cuid mhór imeachtaí ar siúl againn le Biongó Mór, Cic Fada agus Comórtas Postaeir ina measc. Bhuaigh Keelan McKenna sa 6ú Bliain an duais is mó sa Bhiongó – €50.
Comhghairdeas le Darragh Crinion. Conor Murray, Robert Curtis agus Eli Clynch a bhuaigh an comórtas postaeir sa chéad bliain. Fuair siad ubh Cásca mar dhuais.
Bhuaigh Ciarán Reilly 1I, Matthew Gribben 2R agus Jack Kane 3K an comórtas “Cic Fada” le linn na seachtaine. Ghlac gach aon dalta sóisearach páirt sa chomórtas agus bhí na leaids ar bís gur bhuaigh siad an comórtas.
Ghlac Darragh Crinion. Oscar Leufer-Gavigan, James Connell agus Rory McCormack páirt I dTráth na gCeist Náisiúnta a d’eagraigh “Feachtas” i mBaile Átha Cliath. Bhain siad an-taitneamh as an lá.
Rinne na daltaí agus na múinteoirí sár-iarracht as “Cúpla Focal” a rá le linn na seachtaine. “Labhair í agus mairfidh sí!”

We had a great Seachtain na Gaeilge in St. Patrick’s Classical School with events such as Bingo, Kick Fada and poster competitions. Keelan McKenna in 6th Year was the overall winner of the school bingo. Maith thú féin!
Congratulations to Darragh Crinion. Conor Murray, Robert Curtis and Eli Clynch who won the 1st Year Poster Competition. They received an Easter Egg as a prize.
Ciarán Reilly 1I, Matthew Gribben 2R agus Jack Kane 3K won the Kick Fada. They beat every other student in their year. Maith sibh!
Darragh Crinion. Oscar Leufer-Gavigan, James Connell and Rory McCormack took part in the National Tráth na gCeist that was organised by Feachtas in Dublin. The lads thoroughly enjoyed their day.
Well done to all pupils an staff who spoke their “Cúpla Focal” during the week. “Speak it and it will last”
