Geography Tour to Martry Mill

Today concludes a week of tours to Martry Mill for 3rd year Geography students as part of Geography week in the school. Students had an opportunity to see the workings of the Mill on the River Blackwater, highlighting an example of a traditional secondary economic activity in the locality. The students got to test their baking skills while in the mill using freshly milled flour and will be bringing home delicious baked bread.
