Dear Parents/Guardians,
A former student of our school is currently employed with an organisation called Mo Shaol. They are part of Positive Futures, a charitable organisation and respite service that works with adults and children with disabilities. Mo Shaol enables children and adults with a learning disability, physical disability, autistic spectrum condition or acquired brain injury to be supported by another family or an individual for a short break or on a longer-term basis. They are currently looking to recruit more hosts and host families for this purpose across counties Meath and Louth. I have attached a leaflet that explains how the service works, and their website ‘positive-futures’ provides more information and details of their success stories.
Perhaps it is something that you might consider.
Kind regards,
Harry McGarry
Principal
