Our students and staff were delighted to welcome Mr. Stephen Kelly – Professor of Modern Irish History and British-Irish Relations at Liverpool Hope University to our school last Friday
Stephen talked to the leaving Cert history students about The Coleraine University controversy, the Apprentice Boys and the Sunningdale Agreement. All important topics on the Leaving Cert course.
Stephen followed this with a talk to some Junior Cycle groups on Bloody Sunday 1972 and the 1981 Hunger Strike,.
