Our Minor and Junior Basketball teams finished a busy week of games with two wins against Macartan’s College, Monaghan. Having played St. Patrick’s College, Cavan and Our Lady’s, Castleblayney this week both teams worked tirelessly in their games to ensure they finished off their league fixtures with two solid wins. After our school’s promotion to A this year it was a fantastic achievement to see our players compete competitively against the top teams in the country with both teams walking away with a number of wins under their belt. The coaches would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate all panel members on their commitment and positive work ethic both on court and in their training sessions as we look forward to many years of success on the basketball court. We would also like to thank all parents and guardians for their support at the games and for their taxi services both before and after training sessions. Training for all four school teams resumes next week.
