We would just like to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has contributed to our fundraiser for Focus Ireland. We wish to especially thank John & Rosita Moyles for the soup and rolls last night and breakfast this morning. On such a cold night, the food was most welcome from all taking part.
Last night was a truly humbling experience for all involved. We have been blown away by all the support we have received from the School and wider locality. These group of young men are a credit to their families, school and local community. They have really put the injustice of homelessness to the forefront of peoples minds again. The effort they have put in to fundraising and raising awareness of this issue has been phenomenal.
Sincere thanks must go to Miss Niamh Plunkett, Mr Ciaran Murphy, Mr Seamus Peppard, Mr James Mooney, Mr Lorcán Burns, Mr Ciarán Tierney, Mr Jack Keating & Mr Mark Donnelly for taking part in the Sleep Out. Without their support this Sleep Out simply could not have taken place.
