€600 for their project A Guide for Planting Trees in Schools.
The team consisted of James Connell, Callum Ennis, Harry O’Brien, Donal Blake and Matthew Moan. The lads had to pitch their project and social issue to 5 dragons yesterday. They presented for 4 minutes and the dragons had a number of questions and the team answered them all with great confidence.
The dragons were very impressed with the team and they doubled the initial figure the lads requested to help them with their project. They will also gain valuable insights from 2 of the dragons who were so impressed with the teams pitch, they are going to act as advisors.
This is a huge achievement for the group and we are all very proud of the lads.
The YSI Speak Out will be taking place on the 23rd of March and we wish our 3 teams the best of luck !
