Two classes of Transition Years in the company of Mr. Moore visited the headquarters of Meath County Council in Buvinda House, Navan.
The students who study politics with both Mr. Moore and Mr. Boyle got the opportunity to debate in the county chamber a number of motions that ranged from the lowering of the national voting age to the altering of school tutor time to beginning of the day. All of this under the close scrutiny of Cathaoirleach for the day Adam McEvoy, ably deputised by Fiachra McCaul Proudfoot.
To end the visit, Director of Services for Corporate Affairs, Climate Action and the Environment, Dara McGowan spoke to the students outlining career opportunities to the students as well as fielding a number of questions.
